DEA Take Back Day
Prescription medications can often find their way into the wrong hands resulting in possible overdose or prescription drug misuse. Fortunately, there are many practices that we can implement into our everyday lives to help prevent this from happening. One of those practices includes regularly disposing of your unused or unwanted medications. DEA Take Back Day is the perfect time to do just that!
This year, to support the safe disposal of unused and unwanted medications, we’ll be partnering with the North West Family YMCA, on April 26th, for DEA Take Back Day. You can expect to see us there from 10am-2pm, eager to help you safely dispose of your unwanted medication. We hope you join us in this wonderful initiative to reduce the impact of prescription drug misuse! To find a Take Back Day site near you, visit dea.gov/takebackday.
